Movies // sinners & Saints // February 22, 2009
As you are all aware, Johnny is currently in the midst of his next big project, Sinners & Saints; a movie by William Kaufman. Sinners and Saints is Will’s second film and Johnny plays Detective Sean Reilly. Reilly is part of New Orleans’s Street Crimes division and has seen his share of violence. He has been through some of life’s most difficult challenges – the loss of his son, splitting up with his wife and now the death of his partner. Sinners is the latest adventure for Johnny and it is sure to be one that makes everyone stand up and take notice of something I’ve been saying all along – the man’s got the utmost talent.
Almost everyone knows I have a lot of love for Johnny (if you didn’t know, you do now. ;) ) and I believe that he is the most underrated when it comes to talent. Fortunately, the whole world is about to catch up. Whether you’re a returning fan or someone just catching up with Johnny, Sinners is a must see. Recently, Johnny was kind enough to clear some time for me and answer some questions for all of his fans at UJSFC. Enjoy the read and make sure you check out the official Sinners and Saints website. Since Sinners and Saints is in pre-production, there is more and more news coming out which is absolutely fantastic. The recent news is details of the cast. The list is below:
With Sinners & Saints beginning production next month, we are learning more and more about the cast. Here's an updated list:
Johnny: Detective Sean Reilly - The leader of an elite New Orleans "Street Crimes" task force. Where you've seen him: Are you serious? You wouldn't be here if you hadn't seen him. In case it needs mentioning; Black Hawk Down, The Fast & The Furious, touring with his band Operator.
Bas Rutten: Ekker - an ex-South African commando and the right hand man of villain Raymond Crowe. Where you've seen him: MMA Fights. Three time
undefeated King Of Pancrase and the undefeated UFC Heavyweight champion.
Costas Mandylor: Raymond Crowe - the deadly and unstable leader of a rouge team of mercenaries sent to New Orleans to hunt down Sean's ex-Army buddy, Colin O'Neil. Where you've seen him: Probably most notably, the Saw movies (3, 4 & 5) and most recently Beowulf. He also appeared in some episodes of Charmed.
Jake LaBotz: His role is unknown to me at this time. Where you've seen him: The recent Stallone Rambo movie as well as Ghost World and Lonesome Jim.
Kim Coates: Detective Dave Besson - Sean's, best friend and partner. Where you've seen him: Black Hawk Down, Pearl Harbor as well as on TVs CSI Miami, Prison Break, Entourage and currently Sons of Anarchy.
There is also an appearance by Udo Kier which is awesome. Udo has been in several things including Blade, Feardotcom, and End of Days. How exciting!
Movies // sinners & Saints // October 15, 2008
I have been contacted by the movies producer and been given some great news. Johnny's next movie project, Sinners & Saints, has been picked up and they will begin production in November. The movie will be filmed in New Orleans. I have been extended an invitation to visit the set and will keep you all posted on if/when I head down and will of course share any infomration that I learn while I'm there as long as it is shareable. Congrats to Will Kaufmann for getting his film picked up and let's all look forward to seeing Johny on the big screen again.

A couple of quick updates. Sorry for the long spot between updates!
Rikki Lixx has now left the band and we all would like to wish him lots of luck wherever he winds up. It was a joy to watch him play and we wish him continued success in his new adventures.
Operator is currently working on the next album. No word yet on when it will be recorded and released, but the good news is that they're working on their second album.
Operator has also recorded their version of Guns N Roses 'Its So Easy' You can hear it at their myspace page.
I am also revamping the gallery so please hang in there while it's under construction.
Lastly, I've added some lyrics off of the Soulcrusher album. Not complete yet, but it's a start.

Head over to MTVU: The Freshmen and vote for Operator. The voting runs through tomorrow at 11:9AM Eastern time. This is for major rotation of the video "Nothing To Lose" on MTV's The Freshmen. The boys are currently ranked #2, but I know all of you can make a final push and get them back on top. Johnny// New Movie!! // October 11, 2007
Johnny set to be in the new film "Sinners & Saints" directed by William Kaufman.
"Nothing's more dangerous than a man with nothing to lose."
As the leader of a anti-gang task force squad, New Orleans Sgt. SEAN REILLY, has seen the worst violence the city has to offer. It’s taking its toll on him. Life and death are never more than a breath away and this brutality has become his life. During a routine warrant “serve”, Sean’s team is ambushed and his partner is viciously killed. Only a year and half removed from the loss of his son and his marriage in the aftermath, this maybe the last straw that finally sends Sean over the edge.
Sean’s mentor CAPT. TRAHAN senses a change just may help save Sean from the dark place his is heading and he reassigns him to a baffling gangland homicide case that is plaguing the Crescent City’s underbelly. Leading the investigation is DET. WILL GANZ, an intelligent, young, family man who loves his job but has clearly stumbled onto a case that is out of his element.
Someone has been methodically torturing and burning the most notorious gang leaders in the city. The sheer grisliness of killings and total disregard for the victims gang affiliations or rank is something very new and explosive to the already volatile city. The killings unleash a panic throughout the mean streets. A deadly powder keg is set to go off as both gang member and police alike are on edge waiting for the killers’ next move.
As the clues stack up on the “gangland” case, Sean and Will realize that COLIN, one of Sean’s childhood friends, and an ex-soldier he served with, seems to be at the center of their horrible case. The street is buzzing with word that a ruthless Russian mob boss, KOLYA, is hunting Colin down to recover 10 Million dollars stolen during drug deal gone awry. With the Columbian drug cartel breathing down his neck, Kolya will stop at nothing to get the money back in time.
Sean and Will are forced into a desperate race against the clock to solve the mystery, save Colin and find the money before the merciless Russians do. Determined to not to let each other down, each man must confront their darkest fears and risk the lives of the ones they love the most.
But in the end, will either one be able to live with choices they made or the price they pay?

Operator will be kicking off a tour with Avenged Sevenfold in October. I will be getting the dates added to the tour information right away. Be sure and check them out as the tour kicks off Halloween night in Vegas.
Unrelated to that tour, Operator will also be performing in Orlando Florida on November 18 at the Citrus Bowl. Bands included in this one are Breaking Benjamin, Finger 11, Seether, Drowning Pool, Sum 41 and more. Be sure and check them out! Tickets for this event went on sale August 30th so be sure and get yours before they're gone!

Operator// johnny //Live Shows// june 27, 2007
So on Saturday and Sunday, June 23 & 24, I was off seeing the boys live! You can read all about it in the little review that I put together. It was definitely the best time I could've had and I just want to say thanks to Johnny, Rikki, Paul, DP, Wade and Andy for being so wonderful. Much love to you all! Ok guys, a couple of things right off the top here. First, Johnny & Paul are sick so they had to cancel the shows in Mokena, IL.
Now for my call to all of you. I want all of you to go here and utilize these tools on your websites, your blogs, your myspace, your AIM, wherever you can post this shit, do it! Now you might be wondering what you get out of it.. well first, the satisfaction of spreading the word on the hottest band ever, and second you get prizes. Yes, you heard me, PRIZES. Who doesn't love prizes? We have yet to determine what prizes will be given away, but what I need for you to do is post up these tools, hit me up with screen shots of them in action (email the screenshots to me please) and you can also utilize the AIM icon by sending me a quick message on aim at ujsfcmistress. Just a couple of quickies:
Operator has a new youtube channel. Be sure you join and subscribe to their channel.
Pure grain Audio is having a contest in which three people will win a CD autographed by the whole band as well as an autographed poster. Sign up by July 5, 2007 and Good Luck! Oh an ignore the band line up on that page because they got the Drummer wrong. The drummer is Dorman Pantfoeder.

IMPORTANT UPDATE // Venue change // May 24, 2007
For those of you planning to attend the Club Tattoo party on June 23rd where Operator was scheduled to perform (myself included), the event has been cancelled due to zoning issues. Refunds are being offered at your point of purchase. For more information on how to aquire your refund please contact the Marquee Box Office at #480-829-1300.
However, Operator and Sevendust will be moving their shows for the same day over to the Marquee Theater. It starts at 6:30pm. If you have purchased a ticket to the Club Tattoo party and plan to attend the show at the Marquee, you do not need to get a refund and purchase new tickets. They will honor your Club Tattoo event tickets over at the Marquee.

OPERATOR supplied 'Soulcrusher' to the WWE to use as promotion for Steve Austin's (Stone Cold) new movie, The Condemned. WWE wrote up a little article, which you can find here.
The Media section is now up and running with a few videos.
New additions to the press section include: another arcticle that has a small interview with Johnny from Static Multimedia; a review of the Soulcrusher video by Hip Video Promo and an interview with Paul Phillips about joining OPERATOR, working with Johnny and more.

Relaunch of UJSFC with new layout! I hope you all will like the new layout here at UJSFC! Enjoy and look for lots more to come in the coming months. Especially now that the band is getting some movement. I'll be seeing them live on June 23rd and will come back with loads of pictures and a write up on the show! The Media and Photos section are still under construction, but the photo section does contain some content. The Media section and the full gallery will be active very soon!

As you all know, Operator has been signed to Atlantic records. They are currently out on tour. Are they coming to see you? Check out the tour schedule to find out! Operator is now made up of Johnny on vocals, Paul Phillips (ex-Puddle of Mudd guitarist) on guitars, Ricky Thomas on guitars, Wade Carpenter on Bass and Dorman Pantfoeder, formerly of Love Arcade, on Drums.
I hope to be seeing them soon. If you get the opportunity to head out and see them, do so! I'm certain you won't be disappointed.
